The jacuzzi bath was fantastic. The chairs in the dining area were stained.

Enjoyed our room that was been renovated to a very good standard with an exceptional shower and available with frayed armchairs, plenty space and tea...

Thoroughly enjoyed tasty and plentiful breakfasts.
had really nice stay in this exceptional hotel, the staff were top-class, location was favourable to an outside area. cereal, pastries, and fruit were excellent and overall there was good choice of food. the first-class service and the attention to detail! had opportunity to use wake up calls at no cost.

We stayed at the hotel during the Scottish Grand National weekend on a DBB basis - food excellent but we were unable to finish everything!! Our room enjoyed fantastic views out towards Arran and its snow capped mountains - lovely sunsets. Every member of staff were without exception, were polite, welcoming and eager to help - through business I stay in hotels frequently and you always find one grouch - but not here. Fantastic service, even offered refreshments to my husband who returned to pick up an item we had left behind.

The room was airy and spotless, included with a particularly fabulous shower, sofa, comfortable bed. The service was excellent and the pool was good. Furthermore, the parking was onsite and convenient. Food in the great restaurant was brilliant.

The room we stayed at was very nice, probably the best one we had all vacation. Wonderful facilities, very warm and inviting.
Would have like it if the hottub downstairs was working. Could have used a nice half hour in there.

A relaxing brake in a nice part of the country. Good location for visiting the Burns experiences.
Bedroom had a non existing view and noisy fans right outside the window.

We stayed three nights in June 2011 and had a pleasant experience. Our room was huge, so was the bathroom. Nicely furnished. Service was great, we were well looked after.
There was a ac fan about 1m from our room's window. The fan did come on and off during the night about every 15 minutes. It was still somewhat audible with the windows closed and you wouldn't be able to sleep with the windows open. Not for light sleepers.

This is not really a complaint. Could not drain the bath water. The bath release mechanism did not raise the plug in order to drain bath. Nor could I manage to release the plug manually. Mentioned this at reception on leaving.

The room was large and very comfortable. Although opaque glass on window not good. The food was average and a bit pricey(we had steaks) Staff were lovely. One thing that was aweful was staff scraping waste food onto dirty plate in front of us in the restuarant. Just unacceptable I wouldnt do this in front of quests in my own home.
Scraping waste food onto dirty plate in front of us while sitting eating in the restuarant. Just unacceptable and disgusting!

The room was amazin with a seaview n super clean. Staff were really friendly n helpful. The food we saw looked yummy, and the bar was cool for chillin. The sunset over the sea from the bar was just perfect.
The room was kinda warm since it got a lotta sun, and the bathroom radiator was super hot with no way to turn it off. Also wish there were more options for vegan breakfast.
